The program, titled “Maryland’s Revolutionary War: The Old Line State Earned in Blood,” focuses on Maryland’s role in the Revolutionary War and the story behind the state’s “Old Line State” nickname. According to the event flyer, the talk will explore Maryland’s involvement in the war from both Tory and Patriot sides and highlight the sacrifice of the Maryland militia.
